The Marine Spatial Plan (RZWP3K) is a vital tool for sustainable coastal and marine management, ensuring the balanced use of marine space for conservation, fisheries, tourism, and other sectors. As part of the implementation of RZWP3K in West Papua and Southwest Papua, comprehensive spatial data analysis is required to support evidence-based decision-making.

To facilitate this process, Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN) is seeking two GIS & Remote Sensing Specialists to assist in the development of Technical Materials (Matek) for RZWP3K in West Papua and Southwest Papua Provinces. The consultants will be responsible for spatial data collection, processing, and analysis, focusing on critical ecosystems (coral reefs, seagrass, mangroves) and oceanographic data (tides, currents, waves, and sea morphology). This 11-month assignment requires close coordination with the Jakarta-based GIS team and frequent field visits.
