The enactment of the Job Creation Law through the ratification of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law (Perppu) No. 2/2022 into Law No. 6/2023 on Job Creation has an impact on 3 (three) Laws in the Marine Sector, namely Law Number 32 of 2014 concerning Maritime Affairs, Law Number 27 of 2007 as amended by Law Number 1 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 27 of 2007 concerning Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands and Law Number 26 of 2007 concerning Spatial Planning. Furthermore, the Government has further regulated these laws with implementing regulations, namely Government Regulation number 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Spatial Planning and Government Regulation number 27 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of the Marine and Fisheries Sector.

These regulation changes certainly affect the technical rules below so that changes are needed. One of them is the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation (PermenKP) number 31 of 2020 concerning Marine Protected Area Management has been implemented since 2020.
