Kerangka Acuan Kerja Penyusunan Strategi dan Rencana Komunikasi Program Ketahanan Pesisir di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung (2025 – 2029)
|
Description: Since May 2024, Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN) and Yayasan Tahija have collaborated on the program titled “Improving Local Communities’ Livelihoods through Mangrove Ecosystem Protection and Restoration in Bangka Belitung Province.” This program aims to conserve mangrove ecosystems and improve the livelihoods of local communities. Bangka Belitung Province has a mangrove area of 67,000 hectares, but 10,000 hectares have been lost over the last three decades due to deforestation, mainly for tin mining and palm oil plantations. Coastal communities in the province are highly dependent on these extractive industries. Therefore, beside mangrove conservation efforts, YKAN seeks to support sustainable livelihoods as viable alternatives to these extractive practices. To build and sustain stakeholder support and ownership of this program, YKAN requires a comprehensive communication strategy and plan that addresses the needs of all program workstreams. This document will serve as a guiding framework for YKAN’s coastal resilience communication activities in Bangka Belitung from 2025 to 2029. |
