USAID Sustainable Environmental Governance Across Regions (SEGAR) is a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas). A five-year initiative (2021-2026), USAID SEGAR works to support Indonesia's development goals of balancing biodiversity conservation and sustainable land use with inclusive economic and livelihood development.

USAID-SEGAR project implementation has started since February 2021 in four provinces: Aceh, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan.  Implementation in East Kalimantan covers the districts of Berau, East Kutai and Mahakam Ulu, where YKAN is a member of a consortium that will support the achievement of project outputs.

Entering the second year of implementation of USAID-SEGAR activities, YKAN is committed to assisting the government of Mahakam Ulu district to implement sustainable development. As part of this commitment to sustainable development, a consultant is needed to help develop and facilitate the declaration of sustainable development in the Mahakam Ulu district. Based on this, YKAN is opening the job vacancy through an open tender on the YKAN e-procurement website. This work will be carried out for 19 effective working days outside the validity period of the contract.
