Project Background

Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN) is a non-profit organization established in Indonesia in 2014. YKAN’s mission is to protect the lands and waters on which all life depends. To fulfil this mission, YKAN implements innovative solutions that foster harmony between nature and people. This involves implementing effective natural resource management, advocating collaborative approaches, and establishing a network of partners and stakeholders to build a sustainable Indonesia.

Currently, there are brackish-water aquaculture farms implementing the Aquaculture Improvement Program model in Pegat Batumbuk, Suaran, and Tabalar Muara villages.

An integrated and reliable data management system is essential to support data-driven decision-making in sustainable aquaculture programs. Currently, pond data is scattered across various formats and not fully structured. Therefore, an IT specialist is required to design, build, and maintain an efficient data processing system that enables field data to be stored, validated, visualized, and utilized for performance monitoring.
